Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor, but she's restricted to TV sitcoms. Her first break in this medium after she married Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a season which aired on ABC between 1995 and 1996. Barone appeared on the stage when she was just 5 years old in Detroit when her family moved from St Louis. At the age of 23 Barone had performed in over 50 plays, mostly in university production as well as regional theatres. Her stage credits include Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Helen Keller in the production that was based on "Monday Following the Miracle" and the title performance of Agnes, a young tortured nun as in "Agnes of God." In 1987, she had an appearance in a movie that was titled "Ricochet". She also part of a scene from "The Rozary Murders". And in 1996, she was the main character in an uninvolved romantic comedy known as "Just Friends". Barone was employed by NBC from 1990 to 1991 as a stockholder of "Carol and Company", the ill fated attempt of Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety show. Barone has also appeared in a"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". The actress later returned to her weekly sitcom routine, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
