Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox started out as a flute-player within the band Dragons Playground. However she left when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that was released in the year 1992. The album had a tremendous success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P.
